The Liberty, a Marriott Luxury Collection Hotel, Boston

This venue has come down a bit in quality between my visits. If you purchase an extra amenity like breakfast or valet parking make sure to mention it because the staff won't. The room was average at best outside of the huge bathroom. The hotel was gorgeous and unique however valet is required at a hefty additional fee. It's just not as special as it should be.

Loved the oversized bathroom with separate tub and walk-in shower. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Will stay here again if traveling to Boston

Love the restaurant

We arrived while a very large corporate holiday party was being held in the lobby making it very awkward after driving for 6 hours. The staff were very nice and apologetic. Rooms were fine, cool place being in an old prison but I wouldn’t spend the money to stay there again.

Excellent location for appts at Mass Eye and Ear or Mass General. Everyone is extremely friendly.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff was courteous. However, the hotel hosted a massive party in the lobby with loud music, taking over the bars and restaurant. We were not happy about stepping over broken glass and drunk college students wandering the halls and taking over the place. I was told this happens every Saturday so I say stay elsewhere, the liberty cares more about the money from hosting college parties than their guests.

A really cool atmosphere, Kasey from guest services was so wonderful and helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The night life was great, seemed like the place to be. All staff was very good, room was clean and comfy. It was a great stay, I would Definitely go back
