Mackinaw Beach and Bay Inn & Suites

The hotel was run down with broken fixtures in our room. The tv did not work and bathroom was gross. The staff was very helpful and friendly but some money needs to be put into fixing things up. Not a place I would stay again.

We booked a king room and got a 2 room suite with a king bed in one room with a 65" flat screen TV and a queen bed room with a 55" flat screen TV. There was a wet bar and bathroom between the rooms. We also had a balcony overlooking the Bay and the Big Mac bridge. The room was clean, the shower had good pressure hot water, and the location was great. The bed was comfortable.

Husband got up to pee Saturday morning turned on the bathroom light and shut the door and saw a cockroach crawling up the wall behind the door! He obviously killed it and we didn't see anymore after that, but still put us on high alert!

Easy check-in and a gorgeous room on the lakefront

Rooms were OK, bed was comfortable, housekeeping staff was extremely friendly. Front counter staff was not overly friendly morning or evening shift. Coffee always available! Sunrise view front ground floor room was spectacular! Stated in a suite with 2 queen beds, loved the kitchen area that divided the two bedroom areas.

Excellent view. Room was decently clean but could use some updating and normal maintenance.

One of the nicest hotels in mackinaw city that’s on the water. I’ve been staying here several times over the past decade. They’ve updated and maintained the property well.

The room was clean. We had an amazing view to watch the sun rise!!
