Mackinaw Beach and Bay Inn & Suites

The room was very clean and the lady at front desk was awesome!

The entire area is ridiculously expensive. 80.00 for breakfast. Two adults, one child.

The pool and hot tub was down a super long hallway full of couches the hot tub only fits 6 people comfortably and no one would swim in the pool it was freezing cold water my pillows smelled like someone’s dirty head sweat

The staff 100% amazing. The view was pretty good as well. The rooms were clean.

The rooms had some cosmetic issues, the sink was stained severely. The front countertop on the kitchenette was broken off. The windows seem like they need to be resealed with caulking

Check-in was quick and friendly. Our room had two bedrooms, connected by an open area with microwave, fridge and sink, and also had a sofa bed in one of the rooms. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of storage with surfaces for luggage, etc. Our room had a balcony view of the lake and the Mackinac Bridge. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with a bright and spacious bath and nice toiletries. We didn’t have a chance to use the pool, but it was larger than in most hotels, as shown in the pictures, and had a hot tub adjacent to it. For those traveling in the warmer months, there is beach access for swimming in the lake, and fire pits and seating to enjoy on the beach. Breakfast is not provided, but with the room priced so reasonably it is easy to get a full meal at one of the many nearby restaurants. Our stay was perfect, and I would book this room again the next time we visit Mackinaw City.
