The rooms are too small, more modern hotel rooms are much larger

I was in a clubroom ....many choices... friendly staff...very relaxing and an amazing private area for canapes and cocktails in the afternoon...well worth the extra packages for Club Room. I came in August and the pools were not too busy .

Perhaps a modern coffee machine in room would have been nice and proper fresh milk. The rooms are a bit outdated, but they suit the resort. Very clean.

Hotel: Regency Hyatt Sanur Dates: 5-8 June 2026 (3 nights) Room: 3316. Twin room - club access Pros: The bathroom is nice and having a separate toilet is great. Limited noise from outside of hotel. TV works well and there are a wide range of channels, but mostly in Asian languages. The AC works well though it is slow to change between temperatures. The shower works well too with lots of pressure. Room located in building 3 which is closest to ocean but don't bother paying for ocean views as there are heaps of trees so you wouldn't see the ocean in any event. Hotel close to shops and the long beach path runs alongside the hotel.  Gym nicely equipped. The reception area is huge with a piano bar part of it where a pianist plays at night but it's not well attended by guests so it feels like a bit of a waste. Access to lounge is worth it with a great range of food from 5pm-7pm with cocktails too. Eat at lounge and then you definitely don't need to go out for dinner.

Cons:  The room is dated and in need of refurbishment. Poor soundproofing between rooms. Limited toiletries provided. Room 27sqm or so but no room to store large suitcases without tripping over them. No Peppermint tea bags provided in room which is disappointing. Hotel grounds are huge so be prepared to walk long distances. Slow and not overly inviting check in process when arriving at hotel. For a hotel of this size and reputation the buffet breakfast is average with far too many Indonesian/ Asian offerings yet at least 50% of guests are western. I understand the need to showcase local food but this leaves limited options for those who want something more familiar. We chose to eat at the large restaurant for buffet breakfast as the Regency Lounge breakfast was small. No turn down service is offered in rooms which is odd given the calibre of this hotel and the fact that other hyatt hotels do provide the service. Cleaning of rooms takes place very late in the day which is annoying. The pool is very shaded so it is too cold to swim in the afternoons and forget sitting by the pool on a lounge from 3:30pm onwards as it gets very windy from the beach and is unpleasant. Gym way too small to cater for Hyatt and Andaz guests totalling 512 rooms and potentially 1024 guests. The Andaz needs its own gym and the Hyatt needs to made 50% bigger considering so many people now focus on fitness and well being. On the last day I asked for coconut yoghurt at breakfast and I really should not have eaten it as it was the only time in my entire trip i got unwell and experienced bad stomach pains and diarrhoea for several hours which made for a very sour end to my stay. Note to others: don't trust the coconut yoghurt at this hotel! Steer clear!

This was our 5th visit to this hotel and can’t wait for the 6th From the rooms to the grounds the pools and the beach everything is totally relaxing

Beautifully presented hotel. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful at all times. Comfortable rooms. Amazing breakfast. Great location. Lovely, clean and well-maintained pool and beach areas. Easy to get a sunlounge.
