Lodge Park

This hotel is a real gem, located right in the heart of Megeve close to shops, bars, restaurants and ski lifts for the winter. The room was not large but it was v comfortable, with a balcony, decorated in alpine style with tartan walls and a stone fireplace,maybe a little old fashioned but we thought that was part of the charm, the only criticism would be the toilet which is in a v small separate cubicle with little room to get in and out of. The bar and restaurants are very comfortable with an open fire and again decorated in alpine style with lots of natural materials and v atmospheric, the food was very good both at breakfast and in the bar area. We stayed for the weekend and the staff from the moment we checked in could not do enough for us, they were very friendly, helpful and professional and although this hotel is rated 4 star i think the service levels were as good if not better than many 5 star hotels we have stayed in. there is a spa, fitness room and swimming pools but we did not get the chance to use these. We loved our stay and will definitely try and return if we get the opportunity and would highly recommend Lodge Park.

Exceptional stay. Truly unique hotel with one of the best Alpine brunches, relaxing spa and attentive service. Hope to be back in the winter to check out the skiing.

Stopped by on several occasions for pre-dinner drinks and always had a great experience. Beautiful decor with mountain charm and winter feel. Excellent and friendly service! Had a quick look at the Spa and will definitely be back for a treatment (no pool) as prices are more than reasonable. Also free wifi for guests in restaurants.

Fantastic hotel,great friendly staff very comfortable 10 minutes to ski lift and close to great restaurants and shops

The hotel rooms are run down and extremely dirty. It was a disappointing stay, as it is certainly not worth the money. The housekeeping was basic but not clean. The hotel did not deal with matters to satisfy its clients, but instead was overprotective of it’s staff’s mistakes. On the other hand the food was very good and the lounge area a nice place to hang out with good ambience and quite satisfying service.

The location and staff were great but our room had lots of issues. The safe never worked and they didn’t fix it for the whole stay, so we had to call the staff anytime we had to open the safe. The toilet wasn’t fixed well, anytime we sat on it it would move very unbalanced and also the shower was broken we treid to take a shower once and the whole bathroom got soking wet. So we had to take shower at the spa the rest of the visit. Our room didn’t have enough light and because it was a seeling room it was depressing to stay in the room. Also the 24/7 room service didn’t work out because the kitchen was closed but the staff in reception was very helpfull. In conclusion, the hotel was good but not good enough for the price we paid, I had stayed in a cheeper and better hotel in Megeve beferore, that’s why I had better expectations from our stay.

Stayed for a week, several days with friends at the beginning. Loved every day. The loo is smallest in the world and the bath takes a long time to fill, but it’s traditional French and not Uber modern which we love. It’s cosy warm and very friendly with the most amazing staff The spa is nice, the restaurant good if you enjoy steak but it’s walking distance into the town so plenty of choice. Big fire in the bar every evening and very welcoming Thank you to all staff, Lauren Baptiste and the lovely Benjamin but all worthy of a thank you. The staff here are amazing and truly make a difference Cartwright’s xxx

Very good hotel. Centeal location and easy access to ski lifts. Staff was v friendly. V good vibe.Breakfast was v good and with a good variety. Will definitely return.

Room was extremely pocky as it was in the roof, they told us we had been upgraded so I can't imagine what the other rooms are like, my partner could not fit in the toilet, it was the smallest toilet I have ever seen. Decor was lovely and the best fluffy towels I have ever experienced! Bit annoyed about the 25 euros a day parking charge that was not told to us!
