Super 8 by Wyndham Brinkley

Requested room (downstairs/non-smoking/king) not available despite booking early and membership tier level. Alternates offered downstairs smoking or downstairs handicap; we opted for handicap. Room had a horrible musty/dank odor and the bathroom a different but equally offensive smell. To avoid a fight with the spouse, we stayed; he thought perhaps once the air was on it would be better. Not! Took forever to go to sleep and when I awoke 3-4hrs later and things hadn’t improved, I slept the remainder of the night in the car. After being in the room for a bit I suspect the sources to be a moldy a/c unit and a broken seal on the toilet. After wetting a bath towel and wrapping it around the base of the toilet, covering the break, it seemed to improve somewhat. Avoid this place like the plague. Wyndham should be ashamed.

Room: The room was not clean, and the refrigerator was very dirty with stuff in it from the previous occupant. No cups for water, sink water was splashing all over, and there were bugs in the sink. No coffee machine in the room, and no toilet paper holder. Property: There were lots of toads trying to get into the room. No ice machine, it seems it has been broken for a long time. Breakfast is pancakes. I did not eat breakfast. Staff: The staff was ok, new, so she did not know much. She tried to switch us to 2 other rooms - one was smoking and the smell was too much, the next one was in the same condition as the first one, filthy fridge and smelly. We requested to clean the first one and stayed in it.

Older place , but very affordable. It was very quiet and we got some sleep.

Very bad experience so far. Filthy fridge. Bugs in the sink. No cups for water in the room. TyWater splashes in the sink. Ice machine did not work. No holders for toilet paper. They tried to offer us 2 other rooms. They were even filthier. One was a smoking room and did not enter inside due to the smell. Another one was with junk in the fridge and frogs near the door abs was close to the smoking room.

I stay here a lot and i get the same room most of the time. Front desk is nice and accommodating.

Do not stay here if you have another option, I booked a non-smoking room. It is definitely a smoking room. They refuse to move me and they have plenty of open rooms. The pool has not been permitted so it cannot be open. The ice machines do not work it is a horrible mistake

The location was relatively okay. There are a few hotels, gas stations and a tiny supermarket nearby.

The room was extremely hot. The ac was old, so I gave it some time to cool down. After a few hours (!) I came to the reservation desk to ask for some solution to this problem. No help in response. After that I still tried to fall asleep. However, it was extremely difficult and frustrating, therefore I went to basically argue with the stuff. Only after all of the frustration and disappointment shared multiple times in the middle of the night I got another room. Additionally, the room has all the old and extensively used facilities: bathtub, bed, ac and dirty towels.
