Comfort Inn & Suites Walla Walla

There was no password to the WIFI, and the clerk could not tell me if it was secure. She said anyone could access it if they were on site. They back door did not lock, and no one knew about it. Maintenace was called but did not come in until the next day. Our room was right inside the door. Did not know the area, and it did not feel secure or safe. They fixed it right that day.

I appreciated that they let us check in early.

I notice all the reviews here are 3+ years old and maybe the hotel was better then. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful but the hotel seems dated and worn. We are both bothered by a stale smell throughout the hotel and I don’t have much sense of smell. The fitness room is very bare bones and needs cleaning. Assuming there are comparably priced hotels in this area we would not recommend this one.

The hotel was in a convenient location right off the highway.

For the price we paid I was hoping for and expecting better breakfasts, room cleanliness, and property maintenance than what we had.

While the hotel isn't in any walkable distance to the wineries everything is close. We stayed to experience the hot air balloon festival. The staff was all kind and hard working. Great breakfast. Super clean pool. Room was comfortable and clean. We thought it was a great value for what we paid.

Everything was clean and in good condition. Easy to get to off the freeway. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Only complaint was a noisy bathroom fan.
