Lots of great facilities for family groups but the mattresses were in such poor condition we had poor sleep for 5 nights

Good Location near the lake which gives you the chance to do many activities, family friendly and nice staff

We came here last year in the school holis. During that time, the place is amazing! Pool area was well kept. Staff were so friendly. However, this time we came 1.5 weeks before the school holis. A bit too quiet and not as well maintained. We were really surprised. Duck droppings all over pool area. Heated pool, not really heated. Restaurant and cafe hours vary too much Mon to Thurs so even to get a cup of coffee was sometimes difficult. It’s a beautifully set out resort. Great place for kids to scooter around safely and play tennis. If you have young kids, stay closer to reception as it just makes the stay a whole lot easier. Struggled with lugging everything back and forth. Actual cottage we stayed in, number 39, was nice. Not renovated but clean and had trendy new furniture so was a nice fresh feel.

Liked the house layout. Parking for 8 guests wasnt great but we had a great time.

Our room (38) looked nothing like the pictures.

Great location on the lake with boat hire on site. Not far to shops either. Cottages need some maintenance though.

The ambience is very nice. Food at lunch was quite ordinary, front of house were good.

The pools are all beautiful and the restaurants are reasonable. The main resort pool was full of leaf litter and duck poo (especially the spa) on Saturday the weekend we stayed, but thankfully clean by Sunday morning. Our main complaint re the accommodation was the oven, which was old and the door didn't shut completely. This meant it couldn't heat up properly and the kitchen became filled with the smell of gas. We had to stop using it which was inconvenient with small children to feed. Everything else was OK: clean, tidy.
