"Lancaster and Morcombe Visit"

The staff were polite, friendly and happy. In particular, Jeremy on the reception was welcoming and upbeat. The swimming pool is pretty good for a hotel pool. The outdoor hot tub is a nice feature in hot weather. Brreakfast was also very good. The Hotel is a nice style of hotel incoporating older type architechture.

An extra surplus for parking after booking on booking.com. If hotels allow the use of sites offering a reduction they should then not levy extra charges compared to guests who book direct with them. If i had been staying for a week I would not have been impressed with an additional £84 surplus charge.

"Excellent"

Couldn't beat the outdoor hot tub on a sunny day. Could do with a bell outside to order drinks or have an outdoor bar.

We were charged for parking because we had booked through booking.com - this came as a surprise!

"A nice hotel, delicious breakfast but I would have liked a bath in the bathroom and I don’t think you should have to pay"

Very comfortable bed.

There was not a bath in the bathroom. We booked through Booking.com and had to pay to park in the hotel car park.

Spa.

£12.00 parking charge not informed in advance per day, which appeared excessive for a remote location. No Lift, so we carried our heavyish cases up a flight of stairs. False fire alarm at two o'clock in the morning and went on for approximately 10 minutes. We were not informed by any member of staff that it was false at any time. Meanwhile we stood with others outside until we had to use our common sense and go back into building to find anyone with any knowledge about the fault. Ultimately, we had to rely on 2 other guests who said to their knowledge, it was false. We then had to get back to sleep again, having been thoroughly woken up, with no staff available or trained to help. We opened our room to find the wrong bed configuration on arrival, which had been overlooked on our booking, although to be fair, they did come and twin the double bed quickly on request. Choice of bar food and restaurant meals were limited for us.
