SpringHill Suites by Marriott Terre Haute

The bathroom faucet had a constant drip. The sink was peeling. Bathroom floor wasn't very clean.

The property was very clean. Parking was great. Close by door and well lit. Room was very clean and we had plenty of space. Enjoyed coffee pot and refrigerator. Bed very comfortable.

Both staff members at the front desk were cheerful and helpful. Room was clean, nice, and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in Terre Haute.

This property looks great online. When I walked into my hotel room, I immediately was hit with the smell of mildew. There were suspicious spots on the couch. We found someone's socks left in the drawer. We even saw black mold growing on the ceiling as we were going to bed. We heard multiple guests who has the same problem. I believe the staff was extremely kind. I hope that the cleanliness gets fixed for the health of guests and employees.

Trouble controlling the thermostat and fan

Overnight stay for an event at Rose Hulman. Hotel is right off highway. In a very busy commercial area with many options for eateries within walking distance. Hotel is clean but definitely due for an update renovation. Room is comfortable, everythung in good working order, bed comfortable (sheets would be nicer at a higher thread count) Fastest check in ever. Literally under 5 mins. Very attentive and professional front desk staff.

The room was dirty and smelled aweful of cigarettes. The carpets were filthy and there was food and dirt on the furniture. The tissue box was empty and some of the lights were out.

Stained couches, people smoking weed down the hall, closed pool, and broken juice machine were just a few of the highlights of this place. The staff was friendly but when mentioning the dirty couch, they said a lot of them were that way because they are getting ready to remodel. I would stay away until after they remodel!

I think the best way to describe the hotel is tired. It’s a bit dark in the lobby and dining area, TV looks like it seen better days, room had damage to the drywall, and overall carpets look like a good scrubbing, if not replacement would’ve been merited. If I had to stay again, I would’ve probably selected a different hotel in the area.
