Hampton Inn & Suites Omaha Southwest-La Vista

This was the worst hotel experience First, when we arrived, we were not given the type of room which we had booked months ago, and we required 2 queen beds. We were told the hotel was overbooked and we could not speak with a manager until Monday (it was Sat). We had to escalate this by calling a manager offsite. We were able to stay in a 2 queen room but it had no thermostat, rather than change hotels. In addition to this, the hotel was full of loud children running around being unsupervised while the adults/parents were in the breakfast area with open cases of beer. The woman in the room next to us had to shout at the children to be quiet and go stay in their rooms and threatened to call the police at 11pm. It was inexcusable for the hotel (and parents) to allow children to run around the hotel. Only one woman appeared to be working at the front desk and I truly felt bad for her with how disorderly everyone was. Additionally, at breakfast I had to wait for the waffle dispenser to be repaired. I was told a child had broken it. There was a pile of visibly dirty and wet pool towels in the hallway outside the breakfast area in the morning, and the lobby restrooms were out of toilet paper (ladies) and paper towels (men’s) We have stayed at this hotel several times when driving across the country and are very disappointed we will need to find another location/city as our stopping point.

Me encantó la habitación súper espaciosa y limpia. Con sofá, escritorio y hasta bicicleta de ejercicios y mat para ejercitarse.

El desayuno podrían poner algunas opciones extras saludables, algo de verduras para complementar.

The room and hotel were very clean.

The breakfast was average. There was not a lot of choice/variety.

Breakfast was fine for take & go.

We had to move out of our first room because the door would not lock, after we stayed there 1 night.

Great location

The person that checked us in was very nice. I asked if I could park my new car (purpose of the trip) under the canopy and she let me. Much appreciated. I like the draft beer idea but arrived too late. The location was perfect. I needed to get on the road early and wanted to avoid traffic.

My daughter did not like the sliding barn door to the bathroom. Privacy.
