The Firehouse Inn

My stay was during the World Equestrian Games. I mistakenly reserved the wrong weekend and when I called the hotel to tell them I was coming in late on the first evening the hotel owner said that she did not have a record of my reservation but that they had had a recent cancellation and for me to come on, they would have a place for me to stay. Miss Kitty and Miss Donna were both extraordinarily accommodating and were some of the nicest hotel/b&b staff I have ever met. I can’t praise their hospitality enough.

It was outstanding! The room was large, very clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Every need was met with a smile.

We had the Jacuzzi suite and it was phenomenal. The room is simply gorgeous. The king size bed is heavenly and the linens are very nice as well. Plenty of closet space and nice robe and slippers were provided. The jacuzzi is huge. The shower is wonderful also. Very nice soaps and shampoo is also available. The common area is so beautiful and there is a lot of nice snacks available, drinks, Keurig coffees/teas. We just loved our stay and cannot wait to come back to visit.

The morning staff is very friendly! They prepared delicious food and provide a wealth of knowledge about the area. The room was very clean and it was very quiet and relaxing. It is on the street with access to restaurant and bars, but they were all closed by 11pm. This was nice and provided for very little disturbance! The history of The Firehouse Inn adds a neat aspect to staying and the original architectural pieces such as doors and windows were beautiful! We will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone!

We were so impressed by the exquisite decor in this remodeled Fire House. Every detail was attended to. Very comfortable living spaces, delicious hot, cooked breakfast, friendly cook who visited with us as well as fed us snacks as well as breakfast.

I'm very impressed with the decor in the rooms and common spaces. Well done!

not a chain - unique but with all of the amenities - stay here you will enjoy!
