The Westin Annapolis

The hotel is conveniently located near town and the football stadium. The staff were professional, courteous and friendly.

We came to Annapolis for our honeymoon of a few days. The room was on a high floor which we appreciated. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet; we slept well! The first evening we thought about eating in the hotel restaurant, but it is just a bar and had a very limited menu. We went across the street to an Italian place instead and were glad we did. There is a very handy shuttle that takes you down to the charming section and the dock, which we used regularly. We were leaving the second morning and the housekeepers were working on the floor so we figured they would make up the room. When we returned several hours later, no dice. When I called the service person asked if we had the do not disturb sign out — um no. Then she said housekeeping is by request only — what? Why didn’t someone mention that and why did she ask about the DND sign if that’s the case? Overall there was very little info in the room about the hotel or the area, but there was something about selling the products they use (eye roll). I used the gym one morning and it was pretty average. There were four treadmills of which two were out of order and only one of the remaining two had a working tv. It was too warm and humid (near the pool) and there was no way to adjust the temp. In sum, it was ok, but I expect better from this chain.

This Westin is not as good as previous ones I’ve stayed at. Rooms are small and the staff seem annoyed by any questions that I ask them.

Excellent hotel

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at The Westin. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was nice and clean. I do wish the seating was a bit more comfortable. I would highly recommend The Westin.

This is a very nice hotel. It was my second time staying here, and I wanted to visit again to spend more time sightseeing in the Annapolis area. The hotel is conveniently located in Historic Downtown Annapolis. The room was nice and clean. We received room service every day, which we were not expecting. Our only complaint is that the AC did not seem to work well all the time, and the system itself made noise occasionally. The hotel had great amenities, including valet service. We didn't spend much time in the hotel other than our room. I do recommend this hotel, and I would stay there again.

We arrived in Annapolis, Maryland and stayed at the Westin Hotel for the last three nights to celebrate my 72nd birthday! The Westin Hotel is an absolutely stunning property not just for the amazing team that Rodney has but the location is ideal for going to football games, taking the trolley into town or walking to Lemongrass for dinner! This fabulous property has just recently gone through a major enhancement and facelift which now puts it into a five star hotel as far as I’m concerned! But beyond the bells and whistles, what makes the Westin hotel outstanding is the people are fabulous from the front desk to the valet outside to housekeeping they are folks who go above and beyond to serve you in any way possible. I can’t wait to return.

The Westin is a beautiful and recently renovated 4 star hotel that has a gorgeous lobby and modern decor. I suspect that it appeals to many business travelers, and we happened to visit the weekend of a Navy football game and lots of alumni were staying at the hotel. The room was small but very nice, and the bathroom was spacious and great. If you're looking for an upscale, kind of corporate hotel, the Westin is perfect. And it's a great hotel in general.
