Strawberry Valley Inn

I love the property it was charming old classic stone architecture, great ambience with the landscape and Mount Shasta in the background. It was a perfectly charming place.

I did not like the fact that when checking in to my booking, which was booked through Booking.com and used my credit card that was from booking.combookings.com for some reason declined my credit card. So I had to pay with another personal credit card which meant that the credit that I had on my Booking.com credit card of $170 $.95 was not applied to the $240 that I for the room that I had to pay with my personal credit card There was absolutely nothing wrong with the property the way they handled it. Their hospitality was gracious. They were one of the best days I’ve had anywhere. But because of decline of my credit card and the personal embarrassment, I will no longer be using Booking.com for my bookings our their credit card

The waffles in the morning were delicious! The king room was huge.

The power went out at 7:30 PM and we needed to move to a different hotel cause it was way too cold. It wasn’t the hotels fault, though the whole area lost power.

Our room was a little too small for the 3 of us with two huge queen beds…but spot clean!

Clean and comfortable, good location and friendly staff.

All was clean.

Breakfast needs a little more. A waffle and a boiled egg and fruit might be good once. But they served same thing every day.
