The Westmarine Waterfront Hotel

Overall, we liked our stay. The staff and grounds were very good. Housekeeping is very good, friendly and efficient. But, two days in the evening we had no hot water. Our door handle was falling off and had to be repaired, and the key never really worked and too several minutes to get into our room each time. However, the WORST part (and we won’t stay here again because of it) was the sewer situation around the hotel and marina. There is a constant sewer smell around the entire hotel. It’s so strong you cannot breathe. There is a large, unattended sewer field just to the north of the hotel, right next door in an empty lot. The sewer smell wafts around the lobby, the pool, the parking lot, and the surrounding area. It’s really really disgusting. Because of this, we wander if that is why there are so many flies at the hotel restaurants, which often swarm your food. One day we literally could not eat at our table as we there were easily a hundred flies at our tables. Yuck.

Being on the marina is great as well as the proximity to the centre and the malecon. We did not like the music around the pool.

Excellent, charming, quiet and well located.

Everything was great, staff was friendly and attentive. Enjoyed the one mile walk into town. Sidewalk (malecon) was lit up very nicely that made you feel safe to walk at anytime of the night. Breakfast was great especially on Saturday and Sunday morning. Would stay here again

We checked in and really wanted a refrigerator for snacks and beverages. The only way to get one is to upgrade to a “junior suite”. So we did. We had a fridg that was fine, but no dresser to put away clothes. The safe didn’t work. Staff was friendly, the property was clean and we had great views!

Enjoyed our stay again ! Complimentary Upgrade was appreciated , Front desk service and Grisel amazing ! Comfortable rooms , ,pools and grounds , close by walks and hikes Buffett Breakfast very good . ..Restaurants downtown for dinner , go a block off the Malecon for better locals fare .Will return

Great check in, complimentary upgrade was appreciated. Front. Desk outstanding, room clean view great , Buffet breakfast good. The Valentines special menu was overpriced, so we went downtown to El Continental just block behind Malecon ..excellent food and service by Javier for 1/3 price too? Will return to Marine Waterfront Hotel . Great walks up hill on Malecon .

This has been my 2nd time and the staf is nice and very helpfull. I must say its simple easy and Breaksast are ok in the morning esp when they are included. The pool is so cold I thought they put ice in it to mess the all of us, they did not. I would go back its at eh end of the strip so its a ncie wlak to downtown abotu 3miles. It is on the way best beaches in the area, that is a plus.

I like everything about this place except there's no refrigerator in the room. The hotel and restaurant staff are wonderful. The breakfast buffet is superb. I have been to La Paz twice. I stayed here both times and I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
