Tropikist Beach Hotel & Resort

Fabulous hotel, food/drinks are nice and it's right on the beach. The garden around the pool very relaxing to sit in. The Staff very helpful.

My sis and I went for Carnival weekend 2026 and had a blast! Our ground floor room was very clean, spacious and had all the amenities. Breakfast was very good, every day they had a new menu! Also the staff was very friendly and accomodating! Highly recommend this hotel 👌

Small, intimate, and ultra friendly hotel. Situated in secluded grounds, beautifully maintained by the site team. Benefits from being positioned right on the beach, with lovely views of the sunset. Conveniently located close to the airport without it being too noisy or intrusive, and we managed to run/walk to Pigeon Point, a fabulous beach, in 40 minutes. Our bedroom was extremely large, as was the bed, and although the bathroom could do with some modernisation as mentioned by others, it was very comfortable and kept very clean by the domestic team. The all-inclusive food and drink offering was of extremely high quality, and staff were helpful and attentive at all times. The pool and surrounding areas are kept clean and safe, and there is a relaxed and friendly vibe about the whole place. All staff seem invested and interested in their work, with special mentions for Angell, Malaika, and Natasha, who seemed to make it their mission to see us have a good time. And we had the best time!

Our second visit to this hotel . Issue with room to start with - we paid for deluxe sea view but were put in the smallest of these - which was way too small for a 2 week stay but we were moved at day 3 , which meant living out of case first 3 days, more annoying than an issue. 2 nd room was what we expected for the extra we paid. Breakfast fine, always something , lunch is poor majority of the time, and has declined since last year. Dinner is ok , they did seem short of staff on a few days. Quite a few people chose to eat out locally . The location is perfect. Kenis and Dennis at the bar both great - you have to give your room number every time you go up for drinks, this caused issues with some of the guests as no one really explained why ? Entertainment hasn’t changed since last year , it’s very low key. The cocktails on the beach are no longer on the beach but on the upper terrace , which is a shame as the beach setting was stunning. The barbecues around the pool has moved to in the restaurant , which is again a shame as the setting around the pool and the outdoor barbeque was lovely. I would say in summary the hotel has declined this year and seem to be trying to reduce costs . There was an inspection while we were there and the hotel and food and staff transformed ….. for 1 day !, plants were hired in, staff had new uniforms and bow ties, menus was much improved …. But only for the inspection- shows what they can do. Would I return again - yes to Tobago , it’s stunning, no to Tropikist sadly

What can I say ? What a beautiful , clean small and very friendly relaxing hotel situated at Crown Point . We had a ground floor Ocean View room which had 2 double beds , ample hanging space and plenty of drawers to store your clothes . In the wardrobe was an iron , ironing board and a hairdryer which we never used but were there if you needed them . In the middle cupboard of the dressing table was a small fridge with 2 bottles of water , 2 bottles of coke and 2 bottles of beer which when consumed were not replaced but just up the road to the left was a mini mart which was very reasonably priced . There’s air conditioning and a ceiling fan in the rooms which kept us very cool after the hot temperatures by day . The pool area was beautiful where you had your sun beds and the pool kept clean . The hotel provides pool towels available from reception. The both restaurants had ocean views , food wasn’t in abundance but you always found something to eat , your typical AI . The bar , Kenneth by day was fabulous , Dennison by evening was excellent and very funny .There is also a terrace which is accessed by steps where you can take your drinks , relaxing to the sound of the ocean .Don’t expect a late night as everything in Tobago stops at 10pm but as I mentioned above there’s a mini mart just up the road if you wanted it . Being so close to ANR Robinson airport there was aircraft noise by day but we didn’t hear a thing at night. The only downside we found was we couldn’t pay for a late check out room as our transfer wasn’t until 4pm on day of departure but they do provide a room for you to shower and will keep your cases in reception until then . Would we return ? 100% YES !!!

Great location , complex very tied, staff great, breakfast good, lunch ok, dinner poor, bar kept running out of drinks, hotel tour guild Alfred was a scammer , also know as Bernard , would I go back NO

I met an excellent chef by the name of Lenore. The christmas lunch was great I even tell her that her hands are bless and she even made the best omelette. She's the best chef any hotel could ever have. I wish i could have her as my personal chef lol. Overall my stay was the best ever and you know what they say the key to anyone's heart is their stomach. I will surely be visiting again.

Family Vacation: updated resort clean lawn well maintained . Great staff excellent service both front desk,breakfast.

My mom and I stayed from old years day for 6 days. OMG! The service and friendliness extended to us from all departments was amazing. The location the cleanliness the grounds the birds the ocean crashing on shore the private beach the view the peace and safety I felt sitting under the gazebo at 2 am was priceless wow oh wow everything is still vivid in our memories 😍😍😍😍

I’m currently at this wonderful hotel however I can’t wait to post my thoughts. My wife, daughter and I had dinner on Christmas Night with the all inclusive package and while there was a crowd, I have to say it was handled smoothly and professionally by Ms Stacy. What I particularly admired about her was how she treated everyone fairly. I must give noteworthy praise to Adrian, Stacy, Kennis, Dennison, Michael, Garthlyn and Julian! Honestly the staff at Tropikist are exceptional and I hope that they all continue to learn, grow and prosper.The Food was great and the ice cream (sorrel mixed with coconut) was the best I’ve ever had.
