Tropikist Beach Hotel & Resort

Absolutely amazing time, can't praise this hotel enough. It may not be 5 star but it's authentic and staff bend over backwards, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely food too. Will definitely return.

Absolutely paradise! From the stunning pools and pristine private beach to the incredibly friendly staff, Tropikist Resort exceeded all our expectations. Our room was spacious and clean, and the food was delicious. We left feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. We can't wait to return!

Have just returned from a ten day break in Tobago, the trip was arranged by British Airways Holidays and the resort was the Tropikist Hotel & Beach Resort. Cosmetically it is in need of modernisation, however the service, food choices, cleanliness is second to none. The team went in my opinion above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. (examples) the manager was always around and interacting with all the guest. The night before our departure, he approached me and said “you guys alright sir? Every to your satisfaction?” I said yes, my only regret is I did not get around to trying a roti, and places are closed. His response was “I leave it with me and I soon come”. Within 45 minutes he had returned with the biggest chicken roti (roti is a local delicacy). I tried to pay him as I know he must of sourced it externally, and he bluntly refused to take any money. I know it’s only a few dollars, but it’s the effort he went to ensure I was happy is commendable. We had a 11:00am check out with a 4:00pm transfer with a return flight to London at 7:00pm. He sort us out came to say goodbye, He gave us a food bag and colds drinks for us to consume at the airport. What a guy! I must also mention Kenneth who is one of the main bar staff. His drink recommendations were spot on, and his customer service skills were second to none. Hence the reason for the five star rating. I would highly recommend this resort, it is used by many locals for the neighbouring island of Trinidad, all of whom had nothing but positive things to say about the resort.

Tropikist is definitely my go to hotel all inclusive hotel in Tobago, my home away from home. From the ambiance to the food to the beautiful views and amazing staff, they definitely deserve a 5 star rating. I will continue supporting them and highly reccomend anyone to try them out for your next get away :)

We stayed at Tropikist in August, and it was genuinely one of the best holidays we've ever had. The hotel is spotlessly clean and conveniently located within walking distance to the beach and shops. I usually stay at larger hotels and was worried that there wouldn't be enough to do or that I'd get bored of the food selection in the restaurant, but I couldn't have been more wrong! Although there wasn't a massive selection of food, everything served was so well cooked that it was impossible not to enjoy it. The staff are what made out stay so enjoyable everyone we encountered was so friendly and always so helpful. We did several excursions while in Tobago and booked them all with Peter Cox, who was absolutely fantastic, and I cannot recommend enough. We also visited Trinidad, which was very easily organised and did our excursions there with Stephan at Caribbean Discovery tours, who also ensured we had an amazing experience. If you're planning to do any trips or excursions, please check out either of these companies, and I can promise you you'll have a wonderful time! I don't often go back to the same country straight away, let alone the same hotel, but I think I'd make an exception for Tropikist. I can't wait to visit again!

✨ Final Thoughts I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Tropikist Beach Hotel to anyone visiting Tobago. With a few small improvements, this hotel has the potential to deliver a consistbest4½ or 5 star experience

10/10. First time being to an all inc in Tobago instead of a house, this was a definite win for me. The service was excellent! The food was great ! The pool was welcoming and clean. I will definitely be returning !

Excellent stay, would definitely recommend, friendly staff great room service and very clean environment. Atmosphere is very pleasant and the location is very close to Tobago night life.

The driver that took us to the Hotel was not courteous, however the driver that took us back to the airport was very friendly, a welcomed improvement. The welcome drink was subpar and the shower fixtures require some upgrading. Dispite the shaky start, our visit was very enjoyable. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The dining staff were on point with anything we needed. The food was good. My husband particularly enjoyed the breakfast and dinner. We got a clean and spacious room with a beautiful view. The surroundings was clean and scenic. Very relaxing. I thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary massage. Despite the minor issues its worth a revisit. Currently making plans to return.

Meals were generally good, with breakfast being the highlight. However, I missed the presence of local cuisine on the menu. The all-inclusive package, which includes two dinners, one lunch, and two breakfasts, may best suit heavier eaters, while a breakfast-only plan could be more economical for lighter diners. **Overall:** Despite the slightly restrictive check-in (3 PM) and check-out (11 AM) times, Tropikist’s scenic charm and outstanding service make it a highly recommended destination.
