Staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were spacious and well fitted.

Beautifully updated, very classy hotel with welcoming, attentive, English-speaking staff. Two associated restaurants with excellent food, including breakfast buffet. Close proximity to the train station, just off the main street of Nevskiy Prospect. Fantastic service! A few stairs, which might interfere with wheelchair access.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel. Nice cozy bars and warm, comfortable welcoming and stylish rooms. The key to the hotel is service. Staff are simply fantastic and go well beyond what one would reasonably expect.

excellent location, close to the Nevsky, Fontanka and Moskovsky Railway station. Breakfast was excellent!

I have stayed at the Helvetia on multiple occasions and each time I am not disappointed. Everything from the amazing, attentive staff, the beautiful rooms, the attention to detail, this hotel is first class. The hotel is located in the heart of Saint Petersburg and within walking distance (or a short cab ride) to many of the main attractions, great restaurants, cafes and pubs. Not sure why I would stay anywhere else.

The service is excellent and the room was very comfortable.

It was a nice and cozy hotel at least my room; the look from the outside doesn't do justice to the cleanliness and ambiance inside my room. And their staffs, very cordial and professional. And their meals were exquisite. And the hotel is very well positioned to the center of town; also within walking distance to the train station. I will surely come back.

Great place, amazingly located at the best area of the historical center. Unique hospitality, very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!
