My room was quite spacious and the best thing about it was the large balcony. It made the room cozy. The air conditioning worked well, although it blew right into my face when I was in bed and I couldn't turn it off remotely. The window covering was very efficient, it made the room pleasantly dark. There were lots of cupboards and drawers. I didn't need them myself, but someone might appreciate it. The location is good, quite close to the center of the tiny town of Sorrento. The train station is also very close and it is very easy to get to Naples and Pompeii from there by train. From Sorrento train station you can also take a bus to Naples Airport.

Too expensive, there is nothing there to justify the price. The room was not any more luxurious or special than the usual normal room. The shower cabin was too small. I'm quite skinny, but I still hit myself several times against the shower doors, it would be very difficult for a bigger person to wash themselves in there. At first they only give you a very small bottle of shampoo and a small bar of soap. When these run out, they don't bring new ones. You have to ask for more or buy shampoo/shower gel yourself. You would expect a more generous attitude from an expensive hotel. The room key is big and heavy and you are expected to leave it to reception, every time you go outside. And then you need to ask it back every time you want to go to your room. For me this is very annoying. There is no kettle.
