Eurostars Hotel Real

This was my first visit to the Hotel Real - Santander, it certainly won't be my last. Thank you to all the staff from reception through to the kitchen staff. Upon arrival our taxi was met by a member of staff who whisked our bags away - soon to be seen again in our room. Smiling and welcoming staff on reception quickly booked us into our room which overlooked the sea. We booked in for four nights Dinner, Bed and Breakfast. Dinner was superb with a different menu each night. We were lucky in having a table with a lovely view towards the gardens. The Maitre'd - Alejandro and his assistant were excellent in explaining the menu and wines. In fact Alejandro came across as 'Mr Hotel Real'. What an asset he must be to the Hotel. Breakfast was served in the separate Breakfast Room or on the terrace. Again at Breakfast the staff were very attentive and clearly took pride in their work. Overall it would be hard to find fault in our five day stay. Santander is well worth a visit. We travelled with Brittany Ferries on overnight sailings from Plymouth.

An absolutely fabulous room, that we stayed in 3 years earlier. Lovely views, so had room service dinner and breakfast to enjoy the view. Nice size room and superb bathroom with everything you could wish for. All staff were so professional and helpful, easy parking.

An excellent Hotel in a superb location with amazing view access the bay.

A very MINOR criticism would be the lack of wardrobe and drawer space. Great if you’re there for only one or two nights but not so good if you are there for seven nights.

All the staff were lovely and the location of the hotel is a standout.

The food wasn’t very special and the restaurant was disappointing.
