Beautiful hotel. The staff were great. the room was lovely and the bed comfy. They clean every day. Very quiet too The only thing is the bath plug doesn't work so we couldn't get a bath this time.
Great, view, very spacious room, comfy bed, good bathroom. Evening menu for vegetarian poor, electronic systems failed whilst signing in. We enjoyed a great 24 hrs touring local sculptures and fabulous food at Lizzet and spa for breakfast.
I had a very joyful moments as it was my first time in Scarborough. Hotel Location and scenery over the hill was amazing. There was a very good walkway towards beach and to the town centre that help us to have a lovely walk around the city centre and coast line.
Staff, service and restaurant was really good, Staff were very helpful and polite, meals were delicious
Hotel was ok. Little faded in places and uneven floorboards etc. Staff were really nice and a great check in The gym and spa were surprisingly really good Room was a bit faded for a superior room, bed comfortable but with Tiny tv and one broken chair it didn’t feel superior Breakfast was ok but felt like deaths waiting room. There was no background music and it was near silent with the overall loud chitter chatter of staff bresking the silence
Very tired hotel, we had to keep our bathroom door closed due to the smells, without us using it, hot tap didnt work in the sink, pool area was dirty and doors were rotten
Dirty rooms ripped blind in bathroom needs a referb this hotel not worth the price
Reception area was nice.the bedroom was a let down windows broken, paint peeling off inside, television in the bedroom only worked on a few channels the first night and then worked better the second night, the television in the bathroom worked better.tap surrounds not on straight,basin tap wobbly. Not a good selection of tea or coffee just one type of each. The room was not dusted completely on the second day there were bits that were missed.when I asked how to get to the pool on Saturday morning the receptionist did not tell me it did not open till 8 when she could see I was going down there.
Unfortunately the hotel do not meet our expectations. The views are beautiful and location is great. Nice breakfast and spa facilities. Although the spa is quite small. However the room was very average for this price. Yes it has lovely views but ruined with dirty window. There were stains on the carpet and on the wall the table was looking very tried. It didn't feel like a 4 star hotel and was not worth the money which we paid.I don't think we will be back.
Lovely hotel - we had the executive double with sea view - very comfortable king size bed, nice white bed and bathroom linen, large room with two bucket chairs and great sea view, tea/coffee, lovely clean bathroom with very hot water and great shower. Excellent breakfast and bar snacks. All staff from cleaning, reception, bar and breakfast room extremely friendly and helpful. Didn’t use the spa but looked nice and very popular. Paid for parking at back of hotel but TBH the parking at the front also seemed very safe. Would definitely revisit.
