Hotel was nice but the bed was not to good. The food was over prices £35 for breakfast. The biggest disappointment was that the pool closed to kids at 6 pm and the pool was the reason we got the room there.
Nice friendly hotel. Reception staff very helpful. Leisure area staff great. Disappointed the jacuzzi etc area was closed. Breakfast was great, staff fantastic. Room was a little tired, carpets stained, radiator cover hanging off, fudge pulls forward each time you open door, ceiling fan not working, poorly fitting toilet seat
Stayed here for a special occasion and were terribly disappointed. Had to book a superior room to fit family in. Room was dated and in poor condition: parts of taps missing, corrision on lights, marks up walls, furmatire heavily stained / laminate finish coning off. Also, even with the window open, there was no air in the room. The fan provided was dropping to bits - missing screws on front cage, missing buttons / parts to change speed of fan, and the oscilation had broken! Staff were freindly and helpful but state of the room really spoiled our stay.
Loved the Sauna,the Steam room and the jacuzzi
We have stayed at the crown spa a few times now. We know Scarborough well and find this hotel in an excellent position with everything within walking distance. The room was comfortable and clean and we also enjoyed the swimming pool and gym areas. The staff were very polite and friendly.
Very disappointed with the restaurant.
Just a two night stay for an event only a stone’s throw away.The room was spacious and bright, a great view of the south bay through the double doors, very comfortable bed with two armchairs a small table. We had two wonderful meals in the evenings, along with a fantastic breakfast spread. The staff were very friendly and easy to talk too. Above all a very lovely hotel in a beautiful location.
Cannot sit out on balcony due to safety issues. Restaurant air con was off until i alerted staff to sauna type heat. Food good.
Lovely placed hotel, parking is roadside so no security. Room was very dated needs money spent to make it feel like you're in a nice place. Staff were nice. Only issues has was grohp of lads ar 2 -4 and 6 am talking in corridor meaning really bad sleep so defeats the object bed ??? .
