"Ok but wouldn't recommend unless cheaper to stay."

Room was clean & spacious . Evening food in bar was good.

Room was bland in decor for a 4 star. Breakfast was moderate. Place a bit souless and a bit far out of town. Have stayed in much nicer 4 star hotels at a better price.

"Room for improvement"

Great parking. Nice lobby and Nephin Suite. Rooms were nice and clean with tea and coffee. Barman in Nephin Suite on Saturday was lovely and Lorraine the waitress was also. Kids entertainment was very good.

Menus stated €13 for cocktails. I was charged €28 for 2. The manager said they had gone up. All menus were incorrect. He asked if I wanted €2 refund. I said take it off my food bill. (didn't happen) and to make it worse, they had no passionfruit to put on my drink. Rip off. Manager also never checked were we ok at any stage of our meal (food was good) . Very poor service indeed from him. Oh, and don't order house wine. Secondly, my husband asked for Boiled eggs for breakfast and was told, they didn't do boiled eggs!!!! Absolutely baffling. During dinner on 2nd day I got the smallest portion of Salmon I have ever been served. I was told this was their portion size. Bearing in mind Ballina has the River Moy which is famous for Salmon. (starters were good) Beef was inedible at this meal also.

A great base for touring Mayo and Sligo. Room was well equipped and comfortable. Dinner in the bar was beautiful and breakfast was good quality. The staff were fantastic and a credit to the hotel, especially Raphael and Nika at reception
