Some people might not like the narrow stairs to get to the room on the second floor of the 1970s section, so be sure to specify no stairs if that's an issue. Our room was at the back of that addition, and we loved it because it is so roomy.

Excellent location. Walking distance to multiple restaurants, and a very quick drive down the street to many more. Loved the ‘boutique motel’ feel and look. I search out the cleanliness factor as soon as we arrive anywhere and this place was great. Comfort is next on the importance list, and the beds and amenities were awesome. Communication with the staff was stellar, and had a tiny issue or two during the stay that was quickly talked out or solved by the wonderful owners. Parking is plentiful and easy. Would highly recommend this spot and I’d have no issues staying again!

Don’t be fooled! There is not a “quick 10 minute walk to the beach” (Beacons beach). This has absolutely nothing to do with the motel though! We thought we’d just walk over to play in the sand and water for a hour or so, but it’s not an easy or quick walk. We gave up on the route after we saw that after walking for about 25 minutes, that it only took us to the top of the cliff where we saw we had an even longer steeper walk to make it all the way to the bottom. We noped out. Ended up driving 10 minutes away to Moonlight State Beach, and it was exactly what we were looking for.

Beautifully tended space. Comfortable bed. Good value. Lovely staff.

A challenge to get in and out on the busy street from a small parking lot.

Terrible bed/mattress, tight parking space, outdated bathroom.

The location was primo even though there was much going on in the way of construction along the PCH. Located in good walking range Close to the ocean. The management allowed me to check in early which pleased me. I would stay again as long as the rates were a better value.

The room was dated, highly used, and not in the best shape. The security on the windows and doors were lacking too. The room was nothing close or as nice as other 9 star reviewed properties on booking.
