This place is really a diamond in the rough. It’s an older place and it’s nothing fancy, but it was very clean and convenient. The area around it has a lot to offer and the view of the mountain is beautiful. I truly had a couple of nightmares stays before finding this place. again… This is not a fancy place, and there are little to no amenities, but it’s clean and safe and the property owners are pretty strict, which I appreciate given what I have dealt with in this area recently as an Alabama transfer.

Heat/air not working, hanging cable box, had to prop it up to use it, electrical outlet over sink broken plus light over sink, bed super creaky. Not the cleanest room either.

At first the young man was friendly and the office smelled really bad. Then 2 days into the stay I got a creepy vibe, and only knowing "convienient" english. Then, when accidently locking my service dog in room w/key an old woman tried to charge me for a lost key to get in the room for oringinal, declined! Water heat/pressure sucked, blamed on weather?! Silver fish in tub plus stray unidentified bugs. Plus side, quiet, usually, and mini fridge/microwave a plus and quite roomy inside for extended stay, kids or service animal. Bring extra towels though and warm things because the floor is freezing!

STOP!! My stay included NO hot water & a front door that didn't shut. The room itself hadn't seen maintenance in years, broken cabinets, ripped chairs and a special touch: peeling paint, graffiti & slapped on plaster in bathroom. Beds must be 15 years old from the feel. Holes in bedspread & television remote didn't work. Outside: wires precariously hanging outside my door and swaying down the walkway. I brought up the no hot water & door issue to the front desk. He couldn't care less but after getting more irate with his lack of caring, finally offered a "25% discount on a future stay". Sorry! No future stay will be happening!!
