D-Resort Gocek

The hotel was very modern and in a great location to everything. Staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet was excellent.

Our overall stay at this hotel was okay. The rooms are clean and comfy with top notch design and toiletries. The sea is beautiful, and there are quality beach lounges on sand, wooden dock, and piers. Some of the staff were polite and helpful. However, these are the reasons why we were disappointed. 1. The hotel is right in the town centre, so it is not a secluded resort. This means that anyone can just walk in, and it can get very loud. Two nights out of four, there were local weddings with extremely loud music, and it was impossible to stay in the room/hotel. We tried to get away to the farthest restaurant, but we could still hear it. This is unbelievably frustrating because we paid so much money but could not even spend time in our room 2/4 nights. The music was on between 7PM-12.30AM on both occasions. 2. The two-person lounges on the piers are only for suite guests and this was not advertised anywhere. We felt tricked to find this out by a small sign on the piers. 3. Some of the staff were rude or unfriendly. 4. Food at the Breeze restaurant was just okay, and had outrageous prices. We couldn't enjoy the ambiance either since the music from the other restaurant (QLounge) was so high and mixing with the slow music at the Breeze. We quickly ate and left. We would recommend only Gunaydin for food, don't bother with any other restaurants in the hotel. The town centre has amazing restaurants for half price. Overall, it feels like a rip off.

My stay at D was, as always, wonderful. I immediately feel relaxed and welcomed by the staff. They never forget a face! The rooms are beautiful and have everything you need, as well as extremely caring staff who help get everything to your room (I arrived before check-in and left my bags with reception, when I finally got back to the hotel at midnight after a long tiring day out, my bags had already been taken to my room so I did not have to wait or carry anything). The facilities are great- lovely gym, excellent spa + treatments. You can borrow bikes to get around the village, such a great idea. The breakfast is to die for and, again, the staff are simply wonderful. I have also stayed at Rixos etc. If money is not an issue, D-Resort is the place to stay. It is so worth the money!!!

Attention to every detail, fabulous service and surroundings, marvelous breakfast offerings and presentation. Golf cart service to private beach is very convenient.

Discovered this resort by chance and had a wonderfully relaxing stay. Staff and services were all first rate. Rooms comfortable and well appointed. Well designed and attractive resort

5 stars in all categories is not enough for this hotel. Great front desk people. Great food. 2 Incredible long pools. Beautifully designed layout with tons of vegetation giving off great smells. Very romantic and relaxing. Huge SPA and work out building. Yummy beds and sheets. This should be called the WOW-Resort
