D-Resort Gocek

Stayed one night with friends, but could have stayed forever! Fantastic Hotel. Staff were friendly, professional, and went out of their way to help. nothing was too much trouble. Location right down by harbour, and a minute from shops and restaurants. Will definitely be back.

Check-in experience was not good. Waited too long and it was very formal . . . not laid-back like a resort. Buildings are office-like, very modern and cold - did not fit in with the other part of the resort which was very nice. They offer bikes to get around but the system is strange - they are all locked up and one needs to check it out and then be sure to bring back and give them the key - you get the feeling it's such a big resort that they have people stealing the bikes?! We stayed in an "attic" room ... try to avoid this - there is no view and you feel like you are in an enclosed room with no window. Limited menus in the restaurants and very expensive.

D-Resort Gocek is a very nice hotel with friendly staff. We stayed there 3 nights. Our room was upgraded to a oceanfront room. Very spacious and clean room with a nice balcony. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of food. There is a beautiful beach at 900 m from hotel. They drive you in a golf cart to the beach. There are two excellent restaurants at the beach.

Cannot find one fault - exceptional experience all round!

Perfect, all positive!

Aesthetically the hotel and location (Gocek) is perfect. The rooms are fantastic, tastefully decorated, spacious, very clean. The pool area / bar is very nice, however the hotels greatest asset is it's beach. A 5-10min walk, you can also catch a golf cart, or use one of the hotel bikes to get down. Either way it's a very pretty trip, past trees and yachts etc. The beach is very clear, beautiful, very relaxing. Food is fantastic both on the beach and by the pool bar. Breakfast was likewise fantastic. I had to check out at 5am and they had prepared a special breakfast for me which was a nice touch. The only downside was getting to and from the hotel and Gocek in general. Don't waste your time and energy on public transport! Add an extra hour at least to any journey if you do. I tried hiring a car, the hotel made arrangements, I waited two hours and the car that arrived was a manual. The hire company had no other options and the hotel only used this one company so it was a complete waste of time and annoying. There were no option for less than 3 day carhires in the village either. Very strange too was there were no tour options in the village for Fethiye attractions. Subsequently all my sightseeing was done by taxi which cost a fortune – for example a trip to Oludeniz and back was 400lira. So very stressful to try and do any sightseeing. Also while the hotel service staff was generally exceptional. I found the main front desk staff were attentive but generally not very useful

Possibly one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at and I've travelled to some luxury destinations. The best thing about the hotel are its staff, the most caring, attentive and personable team I've ever had the pleasure being pampered by. The hotel is stunning and every attention to detail has been thought about, the gardens, the spa and the simple things like walkways are beautiful. Gocek is simply a paradise town with some great people!

We stayed in D-Resort Gocek twice when traveling to Gocek for business. The rooms are immaculate and well-appointed, and the staff are pleasant, professional, and extremely helpful. The breakfast buffet is out of this world, with everything you could imagine, and the quality of everything is superb. We will stay here again with any luck on our next business trip.
