Where to start? They advertise an outdoor pool, spa and gym. When we arrived I asked about it, and I was informed that the outdoor pool was not in use, or the gym. The spa and indoor pool come at an extra price. So false advertisement lead me to book this hotel. When I complained that this hotel did not deliver what it advertised, I was instructed to move to another hotel in the same chain. This is 8pm at night. I had to drive myself to this other hotel over an hour away at night, somewhere I’ve never been to, on my first day of my holiday, in my own transport. When we arrived at this other hotel (CDS hotels Terrasini - citta del mare) we were shocked. It was an extremely large hotel, clearly aimed at families and large parties. It was loud, busy and overwhelming. We arrived around 9pm and were told we could not check in yet and were sent for food. The food was a ‘buffet’ style and it was shocking. In the original hotel we were supposed to have three course personal dining. The food at this buffet was awful, the options were bad, nothing looked fresh, the food was literally sweating it had been out in the heat. I asked about vegetarian options and was told I had to have whatever was out. I had bread for food that night. We were checked into our room about 9:30 pm. The standard of room was not similar to what we booked at all. It was relatively clean, but basic. However the bed was completely broken underneath, the wooden slats did not fit the frame and I almost fell through it. I had to sleep on my partners side of the bed. The hotel was extremely loud, we were right at the back, nearest to the car park, and we could still hear all the entertainment. They played music until around 1am, people shouting, singing, screaming till late at night it was awful. The next morning we wanted to check out. I spoke to an activities co ordinator as she told me all managerial staff were off for a few days due to a public holiday.

Tutto perfetto, ci dispiace che la piscina esterna non fosse fruibile al momento, ma il personale è stato molto gentile e ci ha consentito di usare la piscina interna della Spa (anche lì tutto magnifico, il personale è altamente qualificato). Buono anche il regime di mezza pensione e la colazione super.

Struttura già visitata molti anni fa. Molto grande, spazi esterni ben tenuti, piccole dimenticanze all’interno degli spazi comuni, tutti molto caldi e poco areati. I maitre delle cene, essendo noi in mezza pensione, cordiali e professionali. Pulizia della camera sempre molto accurata. La posizione della struttura è fantastica perché potete raggiungere Mazara del Vallo, visitare la Kasbah e tutto il resto, Marsala con le sue saline, Selinunte e Segesta, ed in meno di un’ora potete girovagare raggiungendo Erice, la grotta di Custonaci, il paese fantasma di Poggioreale, Gibellina e tanto altro…

Come già detto gli spazi non raffreddati, visto il caldo siculo sopraggiunto nelle ultime settimane. La Sala Verdi destinata alla colazione e alla cena era priva di aria condizionata o comunque di qualche apertura che potesse far cambiare aria all’ambiente. Tutti i camerieri tranne uno con pochi capelli rasati, sono stati sgarbati, robotici, e nonostante non fosse terminato l’orario della colazione o cena, si ritrovavano di corsa a sparecchiare tutto, portandosi via anche il caffè che non avevo ancora terminato. Nonostante avessi scritto e chiamato settimane prima non sono stata informata sulla NON APERTURA della piscina esterna, che al mio checkout effettuato il 2/06/2026 alla mia nuova domanda quando dovrebbe essere aperta la piscina esterna mi è stato risposto a Giugno. Apertura e chiusura stagionale non indicato da nessuna parte. Ospiti vicini che avevano un cagnolino di piccola taglia che inizialmente è stato accettato ed è stato riferito potesse stare anche negli spazi comuni , al momento della cena, la famiglia composta da due genitori e figlia si sono ritrovati ad alternarsi per cenare, fino ad affidarla ad altri come noi ospiti che avevano concluso la cena. Bisogna essere coerenti e sapersi spiegare e comunicare, e non magari accalappiarsi clienti che erano lì per un bagno piscina , o per stare tre giorni con il loro amico a 4zampe potendo usufruire degli spazi comuni come comunicato e come è scritto sul sito, soprattutto dopo aver fatto accedere sempre nella stessa sala per colazione e/o pranzo il piccolo animale.
