Excellent hotel, perfect location & very friendly & helpful staff members

We were made to feel very welcome by all of the lovely staff. The accommodation is ideally placed close to the town centre, bus stops and pubs/cafés. Though no onsite car parking facilities, use the one in Lake Road which is a very short walk away. Oh, and the breakfast and the menu/ food choices in general are fantastic too Thank you for a very pleasant stay from Pete, Mary and Andy

No parking but that is standard in Ambleside, with parking easily available elsewhere.

The staff were exceptional, comfortable small room and great breakfast selection included. The location is excellent and paid parking available a short walk away.

We were in room 3 and there was a strong smell of deep frying from the kitchen in the evening.

Tiny room, staff were hit and miss, no vegan butter, hardly anything on the continental breakfast

Lovely staff - made v welcome and engaging. Central location in Ambleside, which means you don't have parking but plenty of options close by. Excellent breakfast. Lively on the Friday night, and surprisingly no noise in the room when we did call it a night.

Room was a touch small for two and a dog but still clean and tidy. Every door needs greasing!! Squeaky and wakes up the room... but sure they'll fix that
