Hilton Garden Inn Savannah Midtown

Disappointing, construction/renovation closed down front entrance; Checkin was in a hall. Minimal info was provided on use of tv, internet and makeshift restaurant. No common area to just sit. No notification about water restrictions from hotel, had to here from friend who lived in area. Staff was nice and helpful when asked.

Very very clean. This is the second hotel that I have been in the last two days. This first was nasty. I was so happy to be in a clean and safe hotel. Thank you for making my stay in Savannah nice!

Hotel needs to be closed and fully renovated.

Traveled for a family vacation. 1. Heavy construction in the hotel, the smell was absolutely horrible throughout the floors. 2. Parking was a nightmare due to construction & over capacity. 3. Breakfast was limited and overpriced. 4. Room was not cleaned prior to arrival. I requested for service, manager was aware and requested cleaning but did not receive the service. 5. When the cleaning staff cleaned the room on our last day, the staff disposed of my personal soap. They were not able to replace it and provided me with a soap that completely dried out my skin. Overall, do not recommend.

I think the property has potential and it is under construction. My bad for not looking that up, because their website clearly stated it. However, my room door was difficult to get to latch and once latched shut, the electric lock wouldn’t function; like the key wasn’t programmed. Our fridge made loud/odd noises and the sink doesn’t drain. Parking is crazy inadequate. This am, people were parked just anywhere. The breakfast buffet was ok. The staff is sweet

Toilet did not work properly Not sufficient parking, when asked about parking front desk said do the best you can. Not sure what that meant. Either you have parking or not.
