Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Middletown

It was very close to our event and the staff were great.

This hotel is in dire need of renovation.

It was close to all major retail stuff and food.

The AC didn’t work for last night and say. Cable didn’t work first day at check in. Staff were nice but not attentive at all. Migrants and bumbs bumbing stuff off you whole time when you step outside. Just better off spending extra money for surrounding hotels.

Nice staff, rough stay. I want to be fair and say the staff was very nice and tried to help. They were polite, professional, and seemed like they genuinely wanted to make things work. Unfortunately, the room and overall stay were not good. I was in Room 104 and ended up checking out early because I did not feel comfortable staying. The room did not feel clean or properly maintained, and I saw what appeared to be a large centipede in the room. I was not able to get a photo before leaving, but at that point the room no longer felt acceptable. The overall environment at the property also made it hard to relax or feel comfortable. I came in expecting a basic, clean hotel stay and instead felt like I had accidentally unlocked a side quest. Again, the staff deserves credit for being kind and trying to help, but the room condition and overall experience were disappointing enough that I left early.

Room very tight, Bathroom did not present as clean, also door did not latch closed.

Location

Use of a strong scent that was pleasant enough but made me wonder what it was covering. Bed was very lumpy
