The Southcliff Hotel

We had an excellent experience at Southcliff Hotel. The staff were professional, courteous, and attentive throughout our stay. The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the hotel provided a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. Overall, a very pleasant stay with excellent service. We would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to others.

Very convenient to town Centre. Secure car park only 5 minutes walk for overnight parking. Cost approximately £6. Staff very helpful 🙏

Should be closed down.. how it’s passes H&S requirements I’ll never know.

Quite run down, noisy dog in room next door and children running around floor above us at 7am

The view was decent. Balcony has no privacy between rooms.

No privacy. All balconies are connected. Flush in the toilet did not work. No basic amenities available.

Hotel mit viel Charme und perfekter Lage. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon. Unser Zimmer war gute ausgestatten und sauber. Das Personal immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Vom Hotel aus kommt man mit dem Bus /Bahn (ca. 10 Minuten entfernt) überall hin.

Parken ist etwas schwierig. Ca. 10 Minuten entfernt gibt es einen kostenfreien Parkplatz. Wir waren in der Vorsaison dort und hatten Glück bei der Parkplatz suche. In der Hochsaison könnte es schwierig werden. Vor der Tür kann mann nur 3 Stunden parken.

Friendly and helpful staff, particularly the lady on reception when we arrived.

HOT!! The radiator in our room was turned to full heat and could not be adjusted. The weather was warm (beg May) and we were uncomfortably hot. The solution was to open the bedroom window. This cooled the window end of the room but not the rest and also meant that our sleep was disturbed by late night revellers when the club down the road emptied . Between the heat and the noise we had very little sleep and had a long drive through France the following morning.
