Sun Island Boutique Villas & Spa Seminyak

The property was tucked just behind the bustling main stretch of the stalls selling their items. It made for a quiet relaxing stay - we didnt hear any of the traffic. The range of massages offered by the villas was incredible and well worth it. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend stating - more variation in the breakfast menu would be good

Staff were exceptional as always, friendly and helpful. The reception, security staff were excellent.

After staying 5 times at this location in 15 years we were very disappointed by the lack of amenities. When we first stayed at Sun Island 15 years ago you could not wish for a better stay. This was truly a top class 4 star location, however, this last stay was very disappointing. The villa was tired and in need of renovation, shower was dirty, broken tiles, kitchen, but no utensils, unlike on our previous stays. Restaurant was almost non existent, The room information book lists fantastic services but almost non of these are available. When we asked why, we were told that the book has not been updated. There have been so many cut backs that this location is nearer 2 stars rather than the 4 stars it proposes to be. We understand that the owners do not wish to spend any money on the premises, such a shame as it was one of our favorite locations. The only saviour was the STAFF, who were absolutely WONDERFUL. I'm sorry to say this will be our last stay at Sun Island Boutique Villas and Spa Seminyak. There are now far better places to stay in Seminyak, where the facilities are so much better. It's such a shame to see a wonderful destination as this was 15 years ago deteriorate to such a low standard.
