"Ok place but not a choice I would make for an extended stay."

8.0

For our purposes hotel was decent. Rooms were dated but relatively clean except one of our rooms had a broken toilet. Shower had a curtain instead of a door causing water to accumulate on the floor. Breakfast area was loud and chaotic. Food was OK. Staff were courteous, helpful and attentive.

"in need of some love"

6.0

Rusty taps in the bathroom sink, quite cramped room. Stale pastries at breakfast and black pudding that you would need a steak knife to cut. Lovely fruit salad but no yoghurt to go with.

"Avoid, dirty, dated hotel in need of refurb"

2.0

’ll start on a positive note — the food served in the bar was very good. Unfortunately, the experience declined significantly from there. The bar area itself appeared unclean, and the atmosphere and clientele around it were not what you would typically expect from a hotel environment. The room was both dated and dirty, clearly in need of a deep clean and a substantial refurbishment. The mattress was particularly poor, with springs protruding and making it extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. The pool area was also very disappointing. There was visible green algae on the white grating surrounding the pool, heavy limescale and corrosion on the handrails, and stagnant water sitting in the changing areas — all of which gave the impression of poor maintenance and hygiene standards. While the hotel is priced very reasonably, it is unfortunately in need of serious investment and improvement throughout. My advice would be to spend a little extra elsewhere for a far more comfortable and enjoyable experience. I had intended on complaining at checkout but the girl on reception looked school age so I decided there was no point unloading on her.

"Keep well clear"

2.0

Im at present here at the west County for a communion meal for my granddaughter and 19 others in our party and the meal and the staff are absolutely diabolical. No organisation staff going around like headless chickens and getting nowhere and having to wait 35 minutes from the 1st person being served to the last 1 and still waiting for the vegetables. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy
