Music in bar but tv was bad for match

I should preface this review by saying that if I hadn't been upgraded to a different room due to the water in the bathroom being brown, my rating would have been much lower. When first walking into the hotel, I expected a lot more than I saw when I walked into my "regular" room. It is in bad need of upgrading; there were tears in the material on the base of the bed and there was something stuck to the carpet. The bathroom appeared to be clean; although when I turned on the faucet the water was brown. I mentioned that to the ladies at reception and they had someone from maintenance in the room immediately. I was told that it was a problem confined to that room, and I was upgraded to an executive suite. I was very impressed with how quickly the situation was handled. The executive suite was more of what I expected when I walked through the front door of the hotel. Although the carpet is in need of repair, the room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. It was only a 20 minute walk from the bus station; it was an easy walk so it is very doable. There is a Circle K across the street so I walked over the next morning for coffee and a pastry since I didn't have breakfast included. The hotel has a lot to offer: a kids' play area, a leisure center, a big bar that serves food, and a restaurant.

The hotel has obviously seen better times although still elegant. However the clientele welcomed and occupying the bar areas may drive you away. The bar across the road is very welcoming..

Everything was very good the staff were so freindly, especially the Leisure Center who gave us a loan of 3 hats and googles for my daughter.

Great nite away we had kids really enjoyed it . Was very busy staff were amazing help also . Rooms were very clean.
