Comfort Inn Plover-Stevens Point

The staff will tell you you can do late check out at noon, but the morning you’re checking out, they’ll tell you you can’t and you have to check out by 11. The cleaning staff will be knocking on your room door 15 minutes prior to check out asking you to check out

Room was okay for what you paid for. Microwave was already broken/not working when we attempted to use it in our room. Was only staying one night so didn't bother to ask for a different one.

The room was alright if there is no other place to stay. Breakfast wasn't good. The only warm items were egg, sausage and waffles. The waffle machine was terrible at least three people used it while I was there and no one got a good waffle since it stuck to the waffle maker. The coffee maker was inside the bathroom. The rooms smelled. The tv control didn't work. The alarm clock didnt work.

Loved the size of the king room that I chose for my last stay, and the fact that I had a decent chair to sit in to watch TV. Breakfast is always hot and on time. The staff was great to look into the ingredients for me to ensure there's no gluten in the breakfast sausage and eggs.

I've been here 4 times this year, but didn't like the fact the second floor ice machine never worked and had to come down to the first floor to get ice. I was grateful to have a first floor room this last time.

Location and price.

Tub didn't hardly drain. There was 6" of water in the tub when done with the shower. Even with the Ac/heating unit, it was shut off it ran every 10 minutes for 10 seconds until we unplugged it and was cold all night. Same garbage, we could see out our window on the ground outside by the pool wall since summer. Could use lots of upkeep.

If cleanliness, safety and quiet is what you are looking for, this hotel has it. If upgrades are important to you, this is not your hotel. You can’t beat this price! The room was clean and the beds were comfortable enough. The room definitely needed updates (one of the exterior curtains was ripped and our desk chair had a lot of wear marks). The shower was hot and strong. The bathroom had a vent fan. The breakfast area was clean and the food was hot. Eggs, sausage, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, etc. Unfortunately, the waffle maker needs to be replaced as it left the black Teflon coating on our waffles (we didn’t eat them). The pool area was clean, the hot tub was hot and the pool was nice. The lounger chairs need to be replaced as the fabric was completely sunk down to the floor; they did have other chairs to sit on, so we chose those instead.

Was turned away from checking in with proof of reservation, still have not recieved refund from hotel and/or booking.com 2 weeks after

Room was dirty switched rooms and mattresses were like rocks beds were smaller than advertised tub was dirty walls were scratched and dirty.Breakfast was good

Room was not properly set up for both beds, found an old pair of socks in the pullout couch. No blankets for pull out. Smelled like it was stale and not cleaned out
