The location was very nice, close to the event we were attending. Breakfasts were very good, each morning we received something different. Staff excellent as well. The property was beautiful, and the grounds well kept. The banana muffins we received upon arrival was a lovely touch, along with the flavored water & tea in the fridge. Very nice!

I was a bit surprised that there was no coffee in the room. Quite a bit of road noise, and lot's of dogs barking, however this is something we have experienced before, and we managed it. Not a deal breaker by any means.

The guest house was very private and looked newly built. Had all the comforts of home. 3 bedrooms made it perfect for our group who were together to attend a music festival. Location was perfect for the festival. We had to drive about 5 minutes for breakfast at the main lodge, but it was well worth it. Excellent breakfast and beautiful gardens.

There was nothing we did not like about this stay. Everyone enjoyed the weekend.

The rooms were OK and had hot water. The garden is beautiful, and viewing it by sitting on the terrace was relaxing. The breakfast was good.

La Terraza has six rooms, but not enough parking spaces for all of them. Guests have to park their cars in a queue on a steep slope. If the guest at the front of the queue needs to leave, all other guests must move their cars and park again. The owner also has a rented three-bedroom house a mile away, which he rents for $100 a night. In my case, he tried to force me to stay there, claiming he had no room for me at La Terraza. While I agreed to stay there for two nights, I did so under the false assumption that the house is part of La Terraz — it is not. It is in a neighborhood that requires a high security alarm system, and there is NO OUTDOORS. The guest is essentially a prisoner in the three-bedroom house. The owner triedn to overcharge me by $346, which I disputed and won the case against him. All this made my stay at La Terraza a bad experience.

Logement très confortable avec un patio qui donne sur le jardin et les écureuils qui viennent s’amuser le matin. Le petit déjeuner est très bon et copieux. Les hôtes sont très serviables. Proche du volcan Poas qu’on a eu la chance de monter par un grand ciel bleu.

Il faut prendre la voiture pour dîner au restaurant. Cependant on peut demander à dîner sur place.
