La Terraza Guest House B&B

Las instalaciones preciosas, las áreas verdes y el río hermosos, nos quedamos en la habitación Honey moon, y queda separada del resto, lo cual nos dio un poco más de privacidad, la habitación bien equipada, ordenado y muy limpio. Peter y resto del personal súper amables. El desayuno exquisito, nos sirvieron unas berenjenas gratinadas con huevo, tostadas y vegetales deliciosos y para terminar un batido de frutas naturales. En cortas palabras todo fue excelente.

El parqueo, muy pequeño, tuvimos un inconveniente con una pareja de franceses un poco mal educados porque ellos andaban una van y nosotros un carro suv, prácticamente nos golpearon la puerta para que moviéramos el carro y al ser tan angosto el pasillo del parqueo hasta pegamos el carro de lo estresados que estábamos con esa pareja porque no paraban de gritar. Eso fue lo unico malo después de ahí, todo fue perfecto.

Wow, what an amazing gem! The murals are beautiful, the grounds are well kept, and the river and garden views from the windows and balcony are peaceful and relaxing. The beds and linens were very comfortable, making sleep restful and refreshing. We loved the thoughtful touches like stocked kitchenware, greeting muffins on the table, body wash, clean towels, and books and DVDs available for guests. The property is serene, with a well-groomed garden full of healthy fruit and plants. Seeing wildlife like squirrels, toucans, iguanas, and other birds was exciting. Breakfast was a delicious traditional Costa Rican breakfast and a great way to start the day. Perfect location for a last stop before leaving — close to the airport but outside the busy city. We are very grateful for the hospitality and will definitely be back.

The neighbors dogs barking in the early morning before sunrise. But they were quiet the rest of the time.

Loved the spacious room with a big balcony overlooking the beautiful gardens. Hearty breakfast.

Shower room was a bit tired.

Comfort, peacefulness, relaxation of the place. Friendliness of the staff. A safe, fully equipped and very tranquil accommodation. The river, the well cared for grounds… such a special place.

Spectacularly beautiful grounds. Comfortable accommodations. Very good food. Friendly, wonderful staff and proprietor.

The only thing about this place that is not great is the parking situation. Inadequate space for the number of units, making it a bit of a pain to get in and out. But that’s a small thing compared to all the plusses.

Endroit très agréable avec un magnifique jardin où on peut observer des oiseaux. Excellent petit déjeuner différent les 2 jours. On a pu manger le soir malgré notre arrivée tardive.

The parking situation is a bit of a nightmare. You can park on the street if you want, but the street is somewhat busy during the day and not very wide. There were four cars squeezed in the B&B designated parking area behind a locked gate. It is a pain in the ass to get out of the driveway and we had to wait for a guest to leave before we were able to get out of the driveway in the morning. God forbid we were in a hurry. Luckily we were both going to the same location around a similar time. Despite the accommodation otherwise being extremely nice and high quality, the situation with the parking was not sufficiently described on the main page or in the correspondence from the B&B post-booking. This was a major negative for the experience of our one-night stay. If you’re not in a hurry, not to worry, but if you are…be prepared.
