The Charleston Inn Hendersonville NC

Beautiful home, the staff is very nice. There was an overpowering smell of cleaning products in our room, we called and were promptly put in a room that did not have that smell. Breakfast was good but not as good as we expect from a B&B.

The room smelled so strongly of chemicals we had to ask to go to another (downgrade) room. The new room was fine and we were able to sleep.

Very charming property and within walking distance of many restaurants and attractions.

Our room was on the front of the building and there was a lot of road noise (cars and trucks).

Staff was efficient and very friendlly. Bed was comfortable. Room was well appointed and we enjoyed sitting on porch and upstairs balcony. Lovely place to stay. We especially appreciated social hour and were amazed by the variety & quality of the snacks & very much enjoyed the fruit. It was a pleasant surprise to learn that the Inn served breakfast. What a nice spread!! Mava and her staff were on hand to greet everyone & made sure we were well taken care of.

Bathroom was too small for our liking but pricier rooms probably have larger ones. However, all the linens we needed were provided and shower had good pressure & plenty of hot water. We didn't like the sink being separate from bathroom, but same comment as above. This is meant as a constructive comment only: We would have liked fruit with breakfast (maybe we missed it) and omelet could have been fluffier.

The staff was great and very welcoming. The Happy Hour and breakfast were both very good. The location was perfect for our needs.

Our bed was a bit too firm (and high) for us, but not to the point of being uncomfortable.

Quaint and well presented property in a great location and very friendly staff

We were not expecting the "Social Hour" they held on the weekend days with live music and refreshments on the deck. This was a great surprise and the musician was outstanding.

Everything was great.

It was convenient to downtown. The staff in particularly was very pleasant and helpful. We felt very comfortable there.

The check-in was a little inconvenient, but once you got the idea of how it was done, it was no problem
