It is a beautiful place and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is very easy to find and just a short walk to downtown shopping and restaurants. Plenty of parking. Honestly it’s a perfect getaway.

We were on the third floor and the stairs can get old if you’re as out of shape as we are.

The location is great. The room was adequate..

This was my 4th stay at Charleston Inn and the 3rd owner that I have met. The owner was not on site most of the time. There were folks checking in with no management on site to direct them. The place was the most unkempt that I have experienced and in serious need of cosmetic attention. We were there 4 nights and the B&B served breakfast on the weekend only. The other 2 mornings we were given gift certificates to a small restaurant nearby.

Breakfast was very good and substantial. Location was excellent but it was the friendliness of the staff that made this hotel stand out. Southern hospitality at its finest.

Closeness to firestation meant there was some noise during the nights.

Happy hour in the afternoons is great, very impressed with the options! Breakfast service is extremely slow!!!!! We waited over 20 minutes to order and there were only 3 other couples in the restaurant that had all ready ordered, then waited another 25 minutes to get lukewarm, fair food. Noticed the other couples had to wait 20 - 30 minutes for their orders also.

Location and historic and a few interesting antiques. Manager went out of her way to please!

Could have been maintained better with nicer quality bathroom vanities etc. Breakfast was a bit lame compared to other B&B’s in the area. But the gift certificates for weekday breakfast at Arabella’s was a fabulous extra!

We stayed in the cottage directly behind the main house. It was fabulous with a modern kitchen, living room and king sized bed. In addition, there was a fenced garden outside for your enjoyment. The weekend breakfast was lovely and you can’t beat the friendly squirrels who eat peanuts from your hand.

Excellent location.
