Hotel Atlantic El Tope

Visited over NY 25/26. Family room with tereace.... very spacious terrace, perfect for young kids to run around safely. Terrace had loungers and chairs on and a lovely view of Teide. Room was spacious for 4 (2a & 2teens) however there is not a lot of storage space. Wardrobe was limited with only 3 hangers each. No drawers, minimal shelves, no storage in bathroom for toiletries. The Beds were comfortable, you may need to request more pillows. Large TV in the room but no English channels. Main issue with the room is the shower. Due to the position of shower head the bathroom (and subsequently the room) flooded very quickly. We minimised this by using many many towels as a dam and had quick showers. There is a kettle and fridge in the room. The Hotel was great, breakfast was lovely everything you could want (tea cups are small). We didnt have any evening meals so cannot comment. The pool areas were very clean (it is out of season) and the splash pool area fab for young kids. Pool snacks were freshly made (when ordered and paid not AI). All the staff were lovely and helpful. There is a book swap near resteraunt (few English books) PLEASE NOTE - THE HOTEL IS LOCATED ON A STEEP HILL. Whilst getting around the hotel is ok, to venture anywhere outside you either need to go down a steep hill/steps or up a steep hill/steps!! There is a small supermarket just up the road that is open late and had all essentials (beer/wine/water/icecream/crisps) Pool Towels can be hired and swapped for 1 euro.

We are very happy with our stay, beautiful view from the hotel and rooftop bar, beautiful reception, very clean We spent two weeks at the hotel and loved almost everything. The food was excellent. The service in the restaurant, reception, bar, and cleaning ladies was very nice. We will recommend this hotel to our friends and we will definitely come back. ¡Gracias y hasta pronto!

The only things that could be improved was the very poor Wi-Fi in our room. The channels on our TV were only in Spanish, German, and one channel in English. Netflix and YouTube were not available :(

Náš pobyt v hotelu Atlantic El Tope byl naprosto výjimečný. Personál byl po celou dobu velmi profesionální, vstřícný a ochotný, což výrazně přispělo k celkovému komfortu. Ubytování bylo na vysoké úrovni – úplně nové pokoje, moderní design a kvalitní vybavení. Měli jsme střešní apartmán s prostornou terasou a dechberoucím výhledem na oceán, který byl jedním z hlavních highlightů celého pobytu. Stravování bylo vynikající, jídla vždy čerstvá, chutná a rozmanitá. Absolutním vrcholem byla novoroční večeře, která byla nádherně připravená a výrazně předčila naše očekávání.

Pro někoho může být mínusem poloha hotelu pár minut pěšky nad městem, buď po 125 schodech nebo chodníkem do kopce. Nám to nevadilo, příjemná procházka.

Die Lage ist ruhig und zentrumsnah. Man kann auf dem Hotelgelände kostenlos parken. Allerdings reichen die Parkplätze nicht aus und wenn man etwas später zurück kommt muss man auf der Straße einen Platz suchen. Das Buffetessen ist sehr gut und abwechslungsreich! Das Personal insgesamt sehr freundlich.

Wir konnten leider nur ein Standardzimmer mit Teideblick buchen. Das Beste am Zimmer war die Größe und das Bett! Der Schrank war ok aber sehr alt. Das Bad war auch noch original - na ja es hat alles funktioniert. Die Schiebetür zum Balkon ließ sich nicht schließen. Nachts war es dadurch auch ziemlich kühl!

Heerlijk terras en zwembad, uitgebreid ontbijt buffet. Ook een fijn dakterras met bar.

Avondeten buffet was matig.

I have just returned from a fantastic and well needed holiday in Puerto de La Cruz. I have been going there for quite some time and found El Tope to be a great hotel to stay in. It is located about 10 minutes stroll to the beach. Central to parks if you like to walk. You can stroll along the coast to Loro Park a great place to spend the day or two( get second tickets before you leave and save 59%). It would take about 45 minutes or get the complementary train from McDonalds. El Tope has and is undergoing an upgrade. With a new child and adukt area called Atlantic Spkash. A new top floor bar as well. The rooms are getting a face lift carpets and decore. The views from the rooms are great, my preference is the mountain view. The staff care and are helpful and courtious. There is a great selection of food for breakfast and evening meals. It is a buffet style with plenty of options. I do not eat meat and always find something delicious to eat. If you need something special just ask and they will try to accomodate. The rooms are large and clean with daily cleaning. You can change that if you prefere. The all round service is great. If you need something extra just ask. I like to have coffee on while reading on my balcony and the hotel is more than willing to supply. It is a great hotel for all families and couples or singles. Now over the years this hotel sells out very quickly and I would say with the added amenities it may be harder to get some bookings. El Tope has the atmosphere of an old style hotel focused on the patron and there comfort with the added bonus of modernisation of the facilities. I have found El Tope to be great value and one of the most pleasant places to visit.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war super. Der Meerblick war ebenfalls sehr schön.

Einzig die Matratze war uns zu hart.
