Maybe could have used a more diverse menu for dinner

Hotel architecture and garden are really a beautiful spot along the Mekong river, breathtaking views and sceneries Location is great for quiet and relaxing time, just 15 min away from Luang Prabang center by Tuk Tuk staff more or less helpful (special mention to Mark, really customer service oriented) Breakfast was ok but not at the level of such a beautiful hotel. New year heve dinner food buffet was excellent

We were there for New Year night and chose the New Year eve dinner set which was marketed with leaflets in the room, advertising wonderful dinner with Champagne and fireworks for a certain price. Before confirming I double checked the reception staff that a glass of champagne was included, as per illustrated on the leaflet. The staff was not aware and checked with their marketing team. Then I was said there was no champagne nor beverage included in the price... Then I said the leaflet was just misleading... They checked again and told me there was no champagne available, but free flow wine instead! So I confirmed our reservation for this special dinner of the year. When we came later to our table, I was proposed a list of wines and beverages, not free... When I argued I was told about free flow wine when I booked, I was explained that it was a misunderstanding and I would have to take another package for that, which was not mentioned anywhere! That's what I call a pure misleading advertising, that I am not expecting from this kind of 5 stars hotel. This does not change our positive feelings on our stay, but this kind of marketing for special events is not acceptable, and some staff members should also be streched to a higher level of service. Rooms are also a bit old with noise from other rooms

Diese Unterkunft war für uns zu weit von Luang Prabang Zentrum entfernt dadurch würden wir nicht nochmals buchen.

Cet hôtel n’pas 5★ mais 4★ avec un service 3★. L’établissement est vieillissant et excentré. Les chambres sont très bruyantes, avec une salle de bain petite et basique. Le personnel manque de professionnalisme et n’est pas particulièrement accueillant, ce qui tranche avec l’excellent niveau de service observé dans d’autres hôtels au Laos. La chambre n’était pas prête à l’arrivée (30 minutes d’attente). Attention également : prélèvement automatique dès le check-in, sans possibilité de payer au départ. Le rapport qualité-prix est médiocre. La nourriture est inférieure à celle des restaurants en ville, pour des prix nettement plus élevés. Enfin, les moyens de paiement chinois ne sont pas acceptés, ce qui est surprenant vu l’importance du tourisme chinois.

Tolles Hotel, wunderschöner Blick über den Mekong und leckeres Frühstück bei dem jeder etwas findet. Die Zimmer sind groß, großes Bad und wir hatten vom Balkon einen Mekong Blick. Die Büffel waren auch ein echtes Highlight.

This is a beautiful hotel right on the river. It was calm, serene and the staff were incredibly helpful. I would definitely stay here again. The shuttle to town is free and a great way to enjoy this slightly more remote location. Really liked that the pool had its own shower as I could spend time between check out and leaving for the airport there, and get showered and changed.

The rooms are not very soundproof. If you don't have noisy neighbours, you'll be fine.
