Breakfast was very good and had lots of choice. Staff and transfers were excellent.

The hotel food and drink was quite pricey.

The hotel yard is very nice but needs better maintenance. The view of the Mekong River is beautiful. The staff is very friendly.

It is a very old hotel and needs renovation; it does not resemble a Meliá hotel at all. From the room, you can hear all the noise from tourists who are just passing by. The breakfast is very poor, and the only European food options are eggs, some cheese, and bacon. The distance from town is about 20 minutes by tuk-tuk. They do offer a transfer van, but it runs only a few times per day

Tolle Lage am Mekong; wir hatten eigenes Auto gemietet; daher Lage ideal für uns ! Pool ist prima. Die Wasserbüffel auf dem Areal mit Kalb waren spannend; Frühstück bis 10.30 h toll in der Zeit !

Die chinesischen Grupoen sind einfach oftmals zu laut und knallen die Türen zu. Der Grupoen-Auftritt der Chinesen sowie die lauten Chinesen-Boote auf dem Mekong sind fragwürdig; offenbar setzt das Hotel auf diesen (Massen-)Tourismus. Das Morgenessen ist eher schwach und eben wieder auf Chinesen ausgelegt.

It is perfectly situated on the bank of the Mekong River where you can see the sunset and the fogs floating around in the morning. There are buffalos roaming around the garden adding to the touch of nature. We visited the prince’s lodge right before check out. It would be better if the hotel could add some plaques to explain the historical meaning and the collections.

The hotel shuttle could be more frequent.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Shuttle to city centre is immensely useful. Had the river view rooms... spacious with stunning views.

Only negative was dinner took very long to prepare after ordering. But the food was good. Not in walking distance to city center.. but thats known from before.

Meraviglioso

Excellent location on the banks of the Mekong River on the outskirts of town. Nice and peaceful. Very friendly staff. The resident buffalo family. All friendly and able to scratch and pat them. Food was lovely. Sitting on our stoep in the afternoon having a sundowner watching life on the mekong river.

Bathroom was a bit small but not a show stopper
