The Grand Hotel - Heritage Grand

The building and facilities are opulent and beautiful. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The buffet breakfast was incredible - hundreds of things to choose from.

It was pricey for Sri Lanka but cheap by Australian standards.

Ein sehr schönes Kolonialhotel mit extremer Liebe präsentiert, im Garten sind sogar die Pflanzen Musik hintermalt. Wunderbarer Erhaltungszustand, ausgezeichnete Küche, super Pianobar mit Livemusik, und..., und..., und...

I went for Dinner to Grand Indian Restaurant with my wife and I felt something missing and that i realized it was the warmth in the staff of Grand Indian . Firstly i was offered a table next to Washroom which i didnt accept ( In my personal opinion the capacity of restaurant might reduce a little byt the table shoould be permanently removed fronm the front of Wash room . Then I was told that there was no table available which I could understand . so they offerd a table at 8.30 pm and took my number to inform . but no body called and it was only when I called was I told that yes I could reach there . I personally think that it is not only about the warmth which is missing in this restaurant but also there is certain degree of bias towards people of fair skin . I think this is a serious matter and I as a responsible person is making a statement about it and it should be looked into by the senior management and take a note of it .. Rest of the staff everywhere was polite and engaging .

Altehrwürdigen Hotel im kolonialen Stil, aktuell noch mit absolut schöner Weihnachtsdekoration, total freundliches, zuvorkommendes Personal vor allen farzan von der Rezeption und Vaneeth aus dem Magnolia Restaurant. Unbedingt den High Tea nachmittags zu sich nehmen, ist den Preis absolut wert und abends unbedingt in einem der a la carte Restaurants essen, sehr gute Auswahl in netter, ruhiger Athmosphere. Die umgebende Gartenlandschaft im britischen Stil- traumhaft.

Kaffee beim Frühstücksbüffett etwas sehr wässrig, aber ist nun mal ein Teeland:-)

早餐非常丰盛，环境非常好，服务管理也非常完善，虽然是100多年历史的老酒店，但是打理的非常好，井井有条，下午茶也非常nice~,酒店每一个场景都是用了心的，非常满意~

Bathe breakfast buffet offered so many choices and was delicious. Our room, The Queen’s Room, was opulent and very special. The grounds were stunning and we couldn’t believe our eyes at how Christmasy everything was decorated. We were not expecting such luxury and desperately wanted to stay longer alas we had to carry on with our journey.
