Raming Lodge Hotel & Spa

Location is great and near the city center, restaurants, and pretty much anything else you are looking for. The staff was friendly and helped me out with everything I needed. Honestly, I can't really go wrong booking here. Breakfast can get a little repetitive though.

Ramming Hotel isn't bad. A tad dated but the room I got was really spacious. An anwar for my closet. A TV cabinet that was aesthetically the same as the anwar. Yeah it was a nice room. The bathroom was huge and the hot water never once gave out. Perfect location. Decent breakfast. I imagine it would be booked out during high season.

I enjoyed everything. The room was awesome. The bacon for breakfast amazing. Also, lunch and dinner at the restaurant, Unbelievably great hamburgers

This property was wedged into a small area on the very edge of Old Town. It was a sort of sketchy neighborhood although within walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops. The pool was removed from the general hotel area so we ended up not even using it. The breakfast was quite good and the restaurant area is quite nice. It seemed like an area for "ladies of the night". That being said we felt perfectly safe here.

This is my third time staying at this hotel and definitely not the last. I love everything about the hotel, location, staffs, pool and restaurant. Luckily, the hotel just cleaned the pool. The water is fresh and clean so I spent most of my time there. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chiangmai.

Old colonial looking hotel which we booked as it's close to thapae gate for the market .we booked it for two days on the strength it has a pool which after a day on tour would be nice , however they don't tell you the pool is dewarfed by a huge building site next to it and I mean ajoining it , no body went near the pool and this is going to last for months , dom if you want a pool I wouldn't book this place , rooms just ok location ok ,breakfast was abysmal and so was the service. If this had not been paid up front we would have left

Excellent staff and location. Rooms close to street are very noisy at night and those close to restaurant are noisy in mornings.

OK. This is a unique property, architecturally quite different from what you might expect in the second largest city in Thailand. Situated approximately 100 meters east of the the Eastern gate of the old city, in Loi Kroh Road, it is in the heart of all the action. Hotel is clean enough and staff are quite pleasant. However,..................in the previous years, one of the major benefits was an internet speed of 120MBPS which for an Australian was like having a birthday cake and eating it too. Someone in management has decided that this luxury is wasted on mere mortals, and dialed the speed back to 1.5 MBPS, IF YOU’RE LUCKY!!!! So get an unlimited local sim for $20AUD and save yourself the frustration of attempting to access the WWW via Ramming Lodge WiFi. BTW, the bacon at breakfast is splendid Probably won’t return. Actually, I might for the cheery staff.............and the bacon.
