Though I realize prices have gone up a lot, it was very pricey.

Comfortable bed The hotel’s location was perfect for what we had to do, and the bed was large and very comfortable. There’s also a swimming pool available, although its placement right next to the backyard parking area is a bit unusual. Very quite room except for the air-conditioning, no neighbour room noise and nearby highway was not disturbing. Railway crossing was sometime making noise but would be same anywhere.

Straight out of the 90s – disappointing stay This hotel feels stuck in the 1990s — you could easily shoot a period movie here without changing a thing. The air-conditioning unit was old and noisy, and the room’s carpet was sticky, likely due to some anti-moisture spray that leaves residue on your shoes. There was no daily cleaning service, and internet access cost USD 12 per day, with the free Wi-Fi practically unusable. The staff seemed completely disengaged — some spent their entire shifts on their smartphones, barely aware of what was happening around them. I’m not sure if this is standard for Hampton Inn, but I definitely expected something better for the price.
