"I am very disappointed by the failure to forward my lost property to me, despite promising to do so"

There is very little to like about this motel. I was particularly upset that they have no experience handling lost property and getting it back to the owner. Truly shocking performance in this area.

I left some personal item (a diary) in my room. The diary was handed to Reception staff who promised to forward it to me. I was prepared to pay for postage and packaging. I have never received this despite being told that it would be sent to my home address.

"Clean, comfortable, well serviced and close to facilities. We would stay there again."

The room was very clean and quiet with a pleasant open view from the window. The bed was comfortable, drinks are available at reception and there were welcome water and nibbles in the room.

The room decor is a bit outdated and little worn out. The TV would have been better situated for viewing from the main bed.
