Circle S Lodge

The reserved room was not ready when we arrived at 7:00 p.m. Amy at the front desk was very cordial and tried to get a room ready. But the room was filthy...Filthy carpets, bathroom sink was covered in shaved whiskers, sheets covered with animal hair. The bathroom was so cramped, you had to sit on the toilet sideways. My mistake for not checking the room before I paid the non-refundable fee.

Room 14 is like a house. Is has a bedroom and a seperate livingroom.

amy was great even though we had some confusion on the reservation. Mattress was good, hot water and water pressure in shower was awesome. lots of grass to walk the dog and there is a gas station next door. Very quiet. Only complaint was first room smelled strongly of smoke so moved to second room which was very very dirty and smelled like cat pee. Also the deadbolt didn't lock due to warped door and there was a big wet spot on floor.

She did not have a room for me when I arrived at 7:00 pm. She was overbooked; however, she was able to move someone and clean the room for me. I had around a hour wait time so left to have dinner. When I came back it was ready. She was very pleasant and apologetic. I’m not sure she read her Hotels.com reservation!

Don’t expect too much on this place. It’s outdated but having clean sheets and towels is all I need. Perfect for an overnight stay. The owner was very nice and a hard worker. She made sure we were comfortable and have everything we need. Thank you!

Nice room for the money, clean and close to a restaurant/bar that had great food. Would definitely stay again.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Did not have a coffeemaker, so people such as myself when you normally get up at 4:30 every morning, it make for a gruesome get ready in order to get some. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

Amy, the manager, was so friendly and helpful. My dad and I traveled from Austin to Gering and got to the lodge very early in the morning. Amy met us at the car and Gabe is the key and said to take a nap and come to the park office afterwards. I would highly recommend! Clean rooms and above average service! Thank you!
