Circle S Lodge

Shortly after making our reservation, we were emailed by Amy at Circle S Lodge. She communicated with us before and after our stay to let us know our room was getting prepared and to thank us for staying. It was a nice touch. The folks at Circle S Lodge were great. The room was nice in most respects, though the max volume on the TV was very, very low. The only real complaint I have is that the carpet didn't run right up to the edge of the bathroom door, and once when I was walking across the threshold, I stepped on a carpet tack with my bare feet. That seriously needs to be fixed. Fix that, Circle S, and you'll be in good shape.

Forget the old negative reviews as Amy and new ownership have cleaned up the place. Stayed 3 nights, room was clean/comfortable and suited me just fine. Handy for touring around the historic area---would stay again.

Would have been better if bath had shower curtain.

Amy was so nice and made every effort to make our group happy. The motel is old but clean.

The owner was friendly and quickly helped with any issues I had.

Quite little area . Price was right .

Bathroom counter was dirty, hole in bedspread, flies in the room.

Wouldn’t stay here again

Arriving late tried to call several times. No answer mailbox full. Arrived sign says out of office but not how to find person. Someone found her. Couldn’t get door keys to take finally got one. Another person wanted two rooms. We saw the guy go to the extra room and remove personal things then checked in the other people. No cleaning or covid sanitation. Our room was big and spacious. The beds comfortable. Bathroom was dirty. The shower drain was horrid, sink had dried soap scum on it. And stuff stuck on faucet. The edge of the carpet between the bath room and walk area was torn up. After staples catching my bare feet I put a towel down to cover it. Our only bath towel for the two of us. The bathroom toilet had to shake the handle to get it to stop running every time. The air conditioning was on when we arrived which was nice. And it was quiet! There is a Big Sign in the office NO REFUNDS so since we had been charged for our room before we got there. We stayed. Suggest that if you go here see the room before you pay. I have pictures

Site said breakfast for 1 person, but all I was offered was coffee. That is not breakfast. If all you are going to offer is coffee, then don't put on the website that that you are offering breakfast. There was hair in the sink. There was no cup or glass or anything to drink with in the room. Also no trash can anywhere.
