Circle S Lodge

The bathroom was left uncleaned. No Internet access. TV was only getting one channel until I wiggled the cable. Bee or wasp swimming in the toilet.

The coffee maker was broken. The door key didn't work and had to get someone to open my door.

The condition of the room was old and dirty. This was made worse by the room but being ready on time. I honestly considered eating the cost of the room and leaving to stay at another hotel.

What I liked about the Circle S was how hard the staff works to make sure everytjing is clean, comfortable, and ready for their guests. Being an older motel the rates are more affordable than some of the newer, bright and shiney motels /hotels in the area. Amy, the manager, never sits down. She is constantly attending to the needs of her guests. The Circle S is in the process of being upgraded under new ownership. The new I liked that yhe Circle S is equipped with security cameras, so no worry about guest's bikes, etc being stolen, vandalism or breakins. The single bed room was comfortable and clean with good Wifi, microwave, refrigerator and a great TV. The bed was perfect. I liked that Amy puts a clean sheet over the top of the beds...I hate hotels that never change their bedspreads. This saves taking off the bedspread. You know everything is sterile. 5 Big-Stars !

Staff

This is an ok budget stay. The owner was nice and the price was great. However, the facilities are basic and have seen better days. It was difficult to close and lock our door, possible, but difficult. The room was clean, but not perfect.

I wasn't able to make our visit but the staff was very understanding and didn't charge us which was a life saver. I would definitely recommend staying somewhere owned by compassionate people! I'll definitely stay there our next trip.

Was a good stay, no issues

Upon arrival, we were greeted by someone who said, sorry... we don't have rooms for you. They put us in another motel (2 star) in a different town. That place had no hot water, lamp shades or coffee in the morning as promised. It was an awful experience.

Nice clean comfy rooms, relaxing.
